The 25-items of the PDI derive from a model of dignity in the terminally ill. See below to view the PDI.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-columns gpb-monochrome-section-blog-posts gb-layout-columns-1 one-column has-theme-primary-background-color has-white-color gb-columns-center alignfull\" style=\"padding-top:5%;padding-right:10%;padding-bottom:5%;padding-left:10%\"><div class=\"gb-layout-column-wrap gb-block-layout-column-gap-2 gb-is-responsive-column\" style=\"max-width:1200px\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-column gb-block-layout-column\"><div class=\"gb-block-layout-column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-genesis-blocks-gb-container gb-block-container\"><div class=\"gb-container-inside\"><div class=\"gb-container-content\" style=\"max-width:1200px\">\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#ffffff;font-size:48px\">How is the Patient Dignity Inventory administered?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background has-white-background-color has-white-color is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-large-font-size\" style=\"color:#ffffff\">The PDI is designed to give clinicians a broad overview or \u201csnapshot\u201d of how someone in their care is doing at any point in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-large-font-size\" style=\"color:#ffffff\">Using a simple questionnaire, patients are asked to rate their current condition on the basis of 25 different indicators.
